FORK WITH DAMAGED TUBING

It is good practice to check the condition of the fork steerer tube from time to time.

Tightening the handlebar stem, designed for steerer tubes made of other materials, can have devastating effects on carbon; unfortunately, this is a widespread problem that occurs in all bike models.

The risk is that the steerer tube will break while the bike is in use, obviously putting the cyclist's safety at risk.

The first two photos show the condition of the steerer tube that was brought to us, while the last photo shows the steerer tube after the work has been completed.

An Ergal pin is also inserted inside, which guarantees the future safety of the steerer tube.
