The crack was caused by an accident and ran along the entire side of the rim, causing it to deform.
Before repairing it, it was therefore necessary to loosen all the spokes opposite the freewheel side in order to completely detension the rim and restore its flatness.
Subsequently, with the aid of a specially created mould, the crack was repaired, paying particular attention to the positioning of the carbon fibre to preserve its aesthetics.
The result is that the repair is practically invisible, but above all structurally guaranteed.
